Today has served as one of the most empowering days of my life. Here in NC we got a chance to hear a song of our hometown people on a local radio station. This is a person I grew up with and went to church with as well. To see God's favor upon his life has been such an empowering thing today and almost had me in tears. Unfortunately I did not get a chance to turn to it but Lord knows I was as happy as can be!!
This was empowering to me because to see this young man doing what he is doing encouraged me to never give up on the vision God has given me. God has given me a great vision (many pieces to it) that will bless many people in my community, county, state and possibly nation. Yet there are days that I want to give up on the vision because of circumstance, the risk and past situations.
I'm one of those people that has been doubted over the years (my potential) because I never fit in, was never willing to change the foundation of who I was, didn't look or act like the "norm", or because of my family background. Yet that fuels me more and more to go for this vision. At the end of the day God only gave each of us one chance to fulfill the vision He gives us and I REFUSE TO GO TO THE GRAVEYARD WITH THE POTENTIAL ON THE INSIDE!!
Today I feel more empowered than ever to bring this vision to pass! The fuel on the fire will be allowing God to prove to my enemies and those who have doubted and continue to doubt me that I can do ALL THINGS THROUGH THE STRENGTH OF CHRIST! I'm pretty sure my buddy has had to face obstacles as well and look at what is going on now!
I encourage each of you to NEVER give up on the vision God has given you for your life, ministry, career, vocation or whatever it may be! DO NOT go to the graveyard with that potential! We only have one chance to fulfill it! At the end of the day people will talk and say what they want but when you are focused on God, at the end of the day, none of that criticism (mainly the negative type) matters as you stay focused!
NEVER GIVE UP!!!
